Qualification and experience Requirements

  • MA & above in Economics/Psychology/ business management/ and related fields with four years of experience of which at least two year on management positions.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skill and proven leadership ability and motivation.
  • An application of  information technology and communications
  • An understanding of national policies and international trends and issues that are directly or indirectly related to the activities of the unit.
  • Effective and strong team spirit and demonstrated competence in coordinating activities.
  • High commitment towards realization of the mission of the university.
  • Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of the university’s working environment.
  • Knowledge and application of office management
  • Proven experience in creating and enhancing a customer service culture within an organization

Duties and responsibilities

  • Setting customer service standards.
  • assessing customer needs and ensuring that these are met
  • investigating and setting standards for quality service delivery
  • ensuring that service delivery  processes comply with standards at both national and international level
  • Working with staff to establish procedures, standards and systems for quality improvements.
  • Producing management/technical reports and customers’ charters
  • Assessing training needs & designing trainings based on the need assessments
  • acting as a catalyst for change and improvement in quality and standards of service delivery
  • directing objectives to maximize efficiency
  • adopting new quality standards for service delivery
  • recording, analyzing and distributing statistical information
  • monitoring and evaluating performance
  • commitment for continued quality improvement
  • Undertakes other relevant office   duties given by the president.

Term of office:

  • The term of Executive officer shall be 3(three) and may be appointed for the additional 3 years.

Reporting: Accountable to the president office.
